Mofaz and South Lebanon

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Shaul Mofaz said on Wednesday in a statement quoted by Israeli Radio that the Israeli mini-Cabinet approved recommendations for the Israeli Army concerning the situation in south Lebanon.
In a statement he made as he was offering condolences to the family of one of the Israeli soldiers who were killed in south Lebanon last week and quoted by Israeli Radio, Mofaz stressed that Israel will choose the proper time and place to react to the recent "aggressions" by the Hizbullah party.
He stated that there is no tension between the army and the Israeli government, adding that certain news published in this respect in the mass media does not reflect the truth.
