Seven terrorists killed in confrontations with Algerian security forces

Seven terrorists were killed in confrontations between the Algerian security forces and an armed group in Aghwat city in southern Algeria on Sunday and Monday.
The Algerian newspaper Liberte said yesterday that the Algerian army has been besieging since last week a group of 20 armed persons, adding that the army, which used heavy weapons and helicopters, is chasing members of the armed group who attempted to flee to the mountains located in the area close to them.
