Foreign ministers of Islamic states meeting in June

The foreign ministers of the Islamic states will convene in June in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The ministers will discuss means of revitalizing the establishment of the joint Islamic market and mechanism to prepare the Islamic states to enter the 21st century.
They will also tackle the economic problems facing the Organization of the Islamic Conference member states, especially the less-developed and non-coastal countries, boosting reforms in the international financial system, enhancing the multilateral commercial exchange system and overcoming poverty in countries with low incomes.
Abd El-Aziz Abu Gosh, the assistant secretary general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, stated that the ministers will work on ratifying a strategy to enhance the agreements to encourage and protect guarantees on investments among the Islamic states, as well as to enhance economic relations in light of the current developments in the international economy.
The will also discuss presenting economic aid to some Islamic peoples and countries.
