Egypt and Senegal of group C qualify for quarterfinals

Egypt and Senegal qualified Tuesday for the quarterfinals of the African Nations' Cup "CAN-2000."
In Kanu, where group "C" played, Egypt wrestled another three points against Burkina-Faso (4-2) becoming the first country to boast three victories in a row and qualify with a total of 9 points for the second round of the competition.
Senegal tied Zambia (2-2) and qualifies with 4 points.
On Thursday, Lagos Stadium is playing host to one of the major games of the Cup pitting Morocco's Atlas Lions against the host, Nigeria's Super Eagles, two of the serious contenders for the title. A draw would propel the two teams to the next round.
