Moroccan, Chinese cities to be twinned

The Moroccan northern city of Tangiers and China's Ching-Dao will be twinned, in a move meant to give a new impetus to economic and trade relations and cooperation.
The twinning project was examined Monday by a delegation from the city's authorities and Moroccan Prime Minister Abderrahman Youssoufi.
China's ambassador in Morocco, who is head of the delegation, said several Chinese businessmen have decided to invest in Morocco and others are probing projects in the sectors of textile, household appliances and electronic industry.
