11 persons killed a terrorist attack in Algeria

11 militia members affiliated to the Algerian government were killed after an attack launched by extremists from the Daewa and Jihad groups against one of the militias' centers in eastern Algeria in the worst attack on governmental troops since end of pardon period 18 days ago.

The Algerian newspaper Liberte said the extremists broke into a center affiliated to the governmental militias in the Aris mountain area in eastern Algeria and killed 11 persons and kept four hostages.

The newspaper added that the governmental troops launched many operations to trace the attackers and that they recruited thousands of people to support the troops in their fights against the extremists.
