$2.5 billion in Israeli software exports

A statement issued by the industrialists association in Israel said that exports of computer software reached $2.5 billion annually and achieved 23% growth last year, but the report does not refer to the headquarters of the exporting companies, whether they were registered in Israel or have branches in Tel Aviv.
Egypt is preparing to compete with Israel in this field by applying the intellectual property law on producers of software in addition to granting the companies working in this field customs and tax exemptions for 20 years.
