Moussa to open symposium on Egyptian - Chinese relations Saturday

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa is to open on Saturday a symposium on Egyptian - Chinese relations and their future horizons at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters.
Nagi El-Ghatrifi, the assistant foreign minister for Asian affairs, said a group of general organizations and businessmen will participate in the symposium and that the strong political relations between the two countries which were boosted by President Mubarak's visit to China in April, 1999 created a proper atmosphere for developing mutual economic interests.
El-Ghatrifi added that exchanges of visits on the official level and between businessmen in the two countries revealed real opportunities for boosting commercial exchange.
