El-Husseini: unified Arab point of view in multilateral discussions
Palestine, Politics, 2/1/2000
Faisal El-Husseini official in charge of the Jerusalem file in the Palestinian government asserted that the multilateral negotiations must correlate with the negotiations on the bilateral tracks.
He said that any stumble in the bilateral negotiations naturally reflects on making any real progress in the multilateral negotiations and that the participating Arab delegations will seek to emphasize this correlation.
In an interview with Egyptian television El-Husseini said the regional negotiations in Moscow are being resumed after eight years and that these negotiations stopped in the time of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, adding that the situation in the Middle East after peace will be discussed.
