Syrian prime minister confers with Lebanese transport minister

Syrian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Zou'bi on Monday in Damascus received Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport Najib Meiqati.
The meeting was attended by Syrian Transport Minister Mufid Abdul Karim and the secretary general of the Syrian-Lebanese higher council, Nasri al-Khouri.
Discussions dealt with cooperation and coordination relations between the two countries in the field of transport and means of developing and verifying them.
Also on Monday Abdul Karim and Meiqati signed the minutes of the Syrian-Lebanese committees.
The two sides expressed satisfaction over the measures adopted to implement the agreements signed between Syria and Lebanon.
The minutes include agreements in the domains of land transport, sea freight, railway and air cargo.
