Prince Talal confers with Carter

The chairman of the Arab Gulf program in backing the UN Development Program, Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, met on Monday in Riyadh with former US President Jimmy Carter.
In a statement following the meeting, prince Talal said he had discussed with Carter bilateral issues between the Arab Gulf program and the Carter Center and the areas of cooperation that can be realized between the two centers.
He indicated that a committee was created representing the Arab program and the center in order to discuss the possibility, means and projects that can be conducted jointly.
Carter arrived in Riyadh on Sunday evening in a private visit at the invitation of Saudi businessmen.
