Saddam Hussein to write novels for youths

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein said he will start writing novels to encourage Iraqi authors to tackle youths' affairs in their stories and novels.
During a meeting he held yesterday with leaders of the ruling Baath Party Hussein said, "The influencing power of literature is greater that the direct thought," adding that he will convene a meeting for this purpose with some writers and novelists in Iraq.
Libyan leader Colonel Moammar Gaddafi also wrote novels.
