Break-in in Sudanese Islamic front office
Sudan, Local, 1/29/2000
Unknown people broke into the office of Ossman Khaled Medwi, a member of the executive leadership council of the Sudanese Islamic Front, as they hit the guard of the commercial company owned by Khaled Madwi.
Madwi's communique to the police said there were money and valuable items in the office that were not touched, yet the intruders used force and violence with employees of the company owned by Ossman Khaled, as it was repeated that there are fronts contesting Ossman Khalid in trade behind the operation.
Security sources said that Ossman Khaled wanted to buy some debts of Arab states.
Ossman Khaled has criticized what he sees as the marginalization by Hassan Turabi of the historical Islamic leaders and his negligence toward the corporations.
