Isesco biotechnology and development seminar in Islamabad

An international seminar on "The role of biotechnology in development" will be organized Feb. 25-27 in Islamabad, said an ISESCO press release.
The event held in collaboration with COMSTECH, the permanent committee for scientific and technology cooperation of the OIC will be the opportunity for Moslem experts to assess biotechnological means available in Islamic countries and the setting up of a scientific work task to cope up with technological aspects.
Exposes on genetic engineering breakthroughs in Pakistan will be made and discussed by participants.
