$10.5 million loan to protect ecosystems in Morocco

The World Bank said Friday it has extended Morocco a $ 10.5 million loan to fund the protection of ecosystems in the kingdom.
The project will help set up and operate a network of national parks and reserves, upgrade existing sites and sensitize the public to ecosystem preservation issues.
Water and forest management staff will get specific training in biodiversity conservation and forestry planning and management.
