Hamas tries to contains a dispute with Muslim brothers in Jordan

The Islamic resistance Movement ( Hamas ) has announced that leader of the Movement Sheikh Ahmad Yassin has made a telephone call with the general observer of the Muslim brothers in Jordan Sheikh Jamil Abu Baker.

The director for Sheikh's Yassin office Sheikh Ismael Haneih said that
Sheikh Yassin stressed to Abi Baker the movement's position which highly appreciates the efforts made by the Muslim brothers group in the question of our brothers who were expelled by the Jordanian government to Qatar." He quoted Sheikh Yassin as asserting the Muslim brothers are always in support of Palestine and its people.

He added that Abu Baker had stressed to Sheikh Yassin that his group will not give up Palestine and its cause, and will back it under any condition, stressing his pride in the Sheikh and the Hamas movement.

This telephone call, however, falls in the course of an attempt to contain the crisis erupted between Hamas and the Muslim brothers following the negative statements made by the spokesman for the Hamas movement Ibrahim Ghoushe ( one of the three leaders who were recently expelled by the Jordanian authorities to Qatar) in which Ghoshe criticized the Muslim brothers and accused them of not willing to reach a solution for the crisis with the Jordanian government and to escalate the tension.

Sources close to Hamas stressed that Sheikh Yassin is intending to hold a tour on the Arab Gulf states in an attempt to settle the question of the three expelled leaders, expelled to Qatar.
