Morocco partially funds Abidjan mosque construction

Minister of Habus and Islamic affairs Abdelkebir Alaoui M'daghri said Morocco would contribute to the completion of construction works of the Abidjan Plateau Mosque in the heart of Cote d'Ivoire's economic capital.
After the Friday prayers in another mosque here, M'daghri announced measures in favor of the Moslem community, mainly study-grants for Ivorian students and a seminar for Ivorian imams and preachers in Casablanca' Hassan II Mosque.
M'daghri and minister in charge of Maghreb and Arab and Islamic world affairs Abdeslam Znined delivered yesterday a royal message destined to President Robert Guei.
