Jordanian deputy attempts to assault his colleague by 'a shoe'

In the first incident in the parliamentary work in Jordan, deputy Megahed Sakour attempted to assault a colleague with a shoe during a session of the parliament yesterday, but other deputies interfered and stopped the assault.
This incident came at the climax of a discussion during which deputy Fayez Rihi directed corruption accusations against Rima Khalef, a deputy prime minister and minister of planning in Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh's government.
Some of the parliaments of East Asia have witnessed similar uncivil incidents were violent fights broke out during the last few months.
