Sanaa: Foreign fronts behind kidnap operations to destabilize Yemen

Yemen said that there are foreign fronts behind the kidnap operations of the foreign citizens and tourists in Yemen, asserting in the official statement which came after the kidnapping of a US citizen that this paid operation aims at harming Yemen's reputation and stability.

In a statement, the Yemeni Ministry of Interior said the kidnappings in Yemen are carried out by some hired saboteurs, behind which are foreign fronts aiming at harming Yemen's reputation and its interests through targeting tourists and workers for companies in Yemen.

An official source in the Interior Ministry said in a statement that Yemen will not allow such blackmailing and that Yemen's stability or security will not be affected.
