Nabil Shaath: Arab ministers to participate in multilateral talks in Moscow
Palestine-Regional, Politics, 1/26/2000

Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nabil Shaath said the Arab ministers who are to participate in the coming multilateral talks in Moscow will convene before the meeting to coordinate their stances concerning regional cooperation.

Shaath said that the foreign ministers of Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and other countries will participate in these talks and that they will meet on January 31 in Moscow to coordinate their stances before the conference.

He added that the Palestinians think Israel must not enjoy the regional cooperation before achieving a progress in bilateral talks and that the Palestinian stance is a necessity for the Arabs to clarify to Israel that it must achieve progress in bilateral talks before achieving progress in the multilateral talks.
