Damascus declares its wish to send experts to Washington

Syria said it is ready to send experts to Washington to discuss the US working paper concerning the Syrian - Israeli peace talks if Israel announces its readiness to convene the border committee's meetings. An official Syrian source said his country's stance was and is still demanding convening the meetings of the border committee assigned to discuss withdrawing to the borders that existed on June 4, 1967.
