Message from Ben Ali to Mubarak
Egypt-Tunisia, Politics, 1/26/2000

Tunisian Education Minister Ahmed Iyadh Ouederni delivered a written message from Tunisian President Zine al-Abidin Ben Ali to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on boosting bilateral relations between the two states, which are currently witnessing a big push, especially after Ben Ali's visit to Egypt in November.

The Tunisian minister said after meeting President Mubarak that his country follows up on progress in Egypt in the political, economic and social fields as well as Cairo's efforts to push forward stability and peace operations in the Arab states and the Middle East as well as the Mediterranean Sea.

Ouederni is participating in the first Arab conference for educating adults (eliminating illiteracy), which is to conclude its works tomorrow evening.
