Yemeni - Egyptian cooperation in the electric equipment field

Sayed Mashal, the Egyptian minister of state for defense production, and Yemeni Minister of Electricity and Water Ali Hamid Sharaf held a round of talks yesterday to discuss fields of joint cooperation between the two states.

Mashal stated that during the meeting they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two states in the fields of manufacturing electrical equipment and parts, maintainenece and means of development, in addition to the possibility of training Yemeni technicians and engineers in the training centers affiliated to Ministry of Defense Production.

The minister asserted that there is a fruitful and long cooperation with the Yemeni Ministry of Electricity, and it was agreed to support this cooperation in contributions to electricity projects in Yemen, adding that the Yemeni delegation visited several Egyptian factories to start such cooperation.
