Syria, UAE for boosting bilateral relations

Syrian Minister of Finance Muhammad Khaled al-Maheyni on Tuesday in Damascus received United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Financial and Industrial Affairs Muhammad Khalfan Bin Kherbashi and members of the accompanying delegation. The UAE ambassador also attended the meeting.
The two sides discussed areas of financial and economic cooperation between the two states with the aim of encouraging investment, facilitating the movement of commodities and capital of mutual interests.
The two sides also discussed the draft project on avoiding double- taxation between Syria and the UAE.
