El-Merghany: We refuse any communications outside the Egyptian - Libyan initiative

Mohammed Ossman El-Merghany, head of the opposition Sudanese Democratic National Alliance, said after discussions yesterday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa that the Sudanese Democratic National Alliance supports and adheres to the Egyptian - Libyan initiative, which works on saving Sudan and achieving a comprehensive reconciliation as well as creating stability in Sudan.
El-Merghany added that the opposition is satisfied with the roles played by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Libyan leader Moammar Gadaffi and refuses any side discussions or communications except through the Libyan - Egyptian initiative.
In answering journalists' questions, El-Merghany said he asked Moussa during the discussions forEgypt and Libya to make haste in convening the collective conference for the discussion.
