Egypt welcomes Bashar's visit

The political advisor for the Egyptian president, Osama al-Baz, has expressed Egypt's welcome "anytime" for a visit to be paid by Bashar al-Assad, son of Syrian President Hafez al-Assad, to Cairo. Al-Baz said that Bashar al-Assad is one of the public figures who has interests in the political affairs in Syria and Arab affairs in general, adding, "Egypt welcomes the visit of any Syrian official who is close to President Hafez al-Assad."
