Inter-Arab consultation in preparations for convening an Arab summit

The Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa quoted well-informed Syrian sources as saying on Monday that the coming days will witness vast regional and Arab consultations that may result in convening the stumbled Arab summit.
The sources added that the Syrian- Egyptian summit did not ignore the growing US role in achieving peace on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks, adding that, "As a result the next Arab summit will discuss in depth all possible means to meet with the US and international position which serves the interests of peace, based on Madrid's terms of reference and the land-for-peace formula."
