German defense minister to visit Jordan

German Defense Minister Rudolf Scharping will visit Jordan on February 2 for two days. The Jordanian daily al-Dostour said the German defense minister will meet during his visit with Jordan's King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh and high-ranking Jordanian military men on several issues of concern to the two countries, especially in the military field.
