Qatar finances construction of 1,500 houses in Algeria

Qatar will pay for the construction of 1,500 houses in Algeria, it was officially announced here. Qatar's ambassador in Algeria, Abdelaziz Sahlaoui, met on Sunday Algerian housing minister, Abdelkader Bounekraf, to inform him of the Qatari decision.
Qatari head of state, Sheikh Hamad Ben Khalifa Al Thani, paid last week a brief visit to Algeria and Tunisia.
