Israeli legislators call Israel to acknowledge responsibility in 1948 massacre of Arab villagers

Arab-Israeli legislators have asked the Israeli government to acknowledge the Israel's responsibility in the massacre of Arab villagers during the 1948 war.
The representatives' call came in response to an investigation that revealed that the Israeli army massacred on May 22, 1948 an estimated 100 to 200 Palestinians in the village of Tantura, northern Israel.
One of the Knesset members, Taleb Sana, said he and nine other Arab representatives tabled an urgent call asking the Israeli government to recognize its responsibility in the massacre perpetrated by the army in 1948.
