Libya announces plans to buy Russian aircraft

Libyan airlines announced on Sunday plans to purchase Russian aircraft for cargo and passenger transport.
The company manager, Sabri Chadi, said the deal will be shortly signed with Russia which will also help the north African country in equipment maintenance and staff training.
Libyan airlines has resumed international flights last April following the lifting of international sanctions.
