Italian consortium and Moroccan region sign cooperation agreement

An Italian consortium, mustering some 200 small and medium-sized enterprises, signed on Sunday a cooperation agreement with the Moroccan region of Chaouia-Ouardigha, near Casablanca.
The agreement seeks to develop partnership in industry, agriculture, tourism and culture between "Consorzio Italia Mediterraneo" and the region.
On Thursday, the consortium announced that it opened in Morocco its first representation abroad.
Some twenty members of the consortium have started exploring business opportunities in Morocco where over 100 Italian enterprises are already operating.
