Iran urges USA on opening official representation

An Iranian official urged the establishment of a US office on Kish, one of the islands that are considered among the most important free trade zones in Iran as a first step toward resuming diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Iranian diplomatic sources in Cairo said Mohammad Reza Yazdan- Panah, head of Kish free trade zone, said that athough that this issue concerns the Iranian Foreign Ministry, this request must be examined positively, saying that all citizens could visit Kish, located in the Gulf, without an entry visa-- including US citizens-- except Israelis, who are still not allowed to visit the island.
