Iraq, Politics, 1/24/2000
Arab public organizations and unions in Baghdad are organizing protest marches today for one week to denounce the sanctions imposed on Iraq and the continuation of the US - UK raids on it.
Representatives of these unions and organizations will present protest memos to the UN's secretary general and to the head and members of the UN Security Council, to the secretary general of Arab League and the European Parliamentary Union as well as the Non-Aligned Movement through their representatives in Baghdad.
