European Parliament hails Egypt's role in tackling Al-Kosheh events

The European Parliament hailed the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to combat terrorism and extremism.
In a decision concerning the events in Al-Kosheh village the parliament hailed the Egyptian government for its steps in tackling the events, including compensating the victims.
A statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said today that the European Parliament's decision came in response to the message addressed by Ahmed Fathi Serour, chairman of the Egyptian People's Council, to the head of the European Parliament on the facts concerning the recent events, in addition to the communications made by Egypt's embassy in Brussels concerning this matter.
