Albright prepares for tripartite US- Palestinian- Israeli summit

Israeli Radio said on Sunday that US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will head for Israel at the beginning of next month. The radio report quoted US sources as saying that the aim of the US officials is to prepare for the forthcoming tripartite summit between Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, US President Bill Clinton, and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak in Washington on February 13, a date on which an agreement is expected on the final status negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian government.
