Oman, UAE joint committee meets in Muscat

The 9th meeting of the joint economic committee between Oman and the United Arab Emirates started in Muscat on Sunday.
The Gulf News Agency said the minister for the divan of the Omani sultan, Seif Bin Hamad Bin Saud, presided over the Omani side, whereas the UAE's side was led by the special representative for the UAE's president, Ahmad Bin Khaleifa Hweidi.
The participants in the meeting discussed means of strengthening the remarkable bilateral relations in economic fields including trade, investment, customs, the lectricity grid and telephone service, as well as work opportunities between the two countries.
