Oman's FM confers with Iranian counterpart

Omani Minister for Foreign Affairs Youssef Bin Alawi met on Sunday in Muscat with Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi, who is taking part in the special meeting of the ministerial council of the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC) currently being held in Muscat.
The Gulf News Agency said that during the meeting talks dealt with means of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries in several areas and means of developing these relations, as well as reviewing current regional issues and the agenda of the Arab League's extraordinary meeting.
