Forming a joint business council between Jordan and Syria

Preparations are currently being made in Amman and Damascus to form a joint business council between Jordan and Syria in implementation of the agreements signed in the framework of the joint high committee between the two states last year.

Jordanian economic sources said, "The council will help show the businessmen in the two countries the investment chances available in the other country, enhance relations, develop connections and ties among businessmen in Syria and Jordan."

The sources added that it will also contribute to providing chances to learn the best means of economic cooperation between them in the investment fields available in both states.
