Developing UAE international airport

The civil aviation department in Abu Dhabi is implementing a comprehensive development plan for the Abu Dhabi International Airport at a total cost $650 million.
The plan takes five years and includes implementing a project to establish a new airport building attached to the current airport with new comprehensive expansions.
Abdu Allah El-Noamim an official in the United Arab Emirates' civil aviation department, said this plan will lead to doubling the capacity of traffic in Abu Dhabi International Airport to more than 7 million passengers annually, making it the biggest airport in the area.
