Switzerland nominates new ambassador to Morocco

The Swiss career diplomat Daniel Von Muralt will, by end of march 2000, take over ambassador Henri Cuennet at the head of the helvetian mission in Rabat, official sources in Bern announced.
Muralt is currently head of protocol at the Swiss foreign affairs federal department. He served as ambassador in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar from 1991 to 1994 before appointment as ambassador-head of protocol of the federal department.
