UNIFIL chief in Lebanon: No signs of Israel's withdrawal from south Lebanon

The Hizbullah official in charge of south Lebanon affairs, Sheikh Nabil Qawouk, on Wednesday discussed with the political advisor of the UN Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Timor Goksel, developments in the Middle East region in light of the continuing Israeli attacks against the northern areas of the occupied part of south Lebanon.
In statements he made following the meeting that took place in Tyre, the UNIFIL official said his meeting with the Hizbullah official is part of the continued contacts between UNIFIL's leadership and the Hizbullah.
Goksel denied "any visual signs demonstrating Israel's intent to withdraw from south Lebanon."
