Moroccan-Algerian talks in Algiers

Relations between Morocco and Algeria were surveyed at a meeting in Algiers earlier this week between speaker of the Algerian senate, Bachir Boumaza, and Morocco's ambassador to Algiers, Abderrazak Doghmi. The meeting, held at Boumaza's request, also discussed the consolidation of parliamentary cooperation, especially between the Algerian senate and the Moroccan chamber of advisors (upper house of the Parliament).
The two sides underlined the historical ties binding the two peoples and their common struggle to snatch their independence.
