Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Wednesday in Cairo received Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in the presence of Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa and the advisor to the Egyptian president for political affairs, Osama El-Baz.

Following the meeting, the Moroccan envoy said he had conveyed to President Mubarak a message from the Moroccan King connected to continued consultations.
