Leaders of Hamas appeal decision concerning expulsion from Jordan
Jordan-Regional, Politics, 1/19/2000
The four leaders of the Hamas resistance movement who were expelled by the Jordanian authorities to Qatar almost two months ago decided to resort to the Jordanian judiciary to appeal the decision to expel them.
Ibrahim Ghosheh, the spokesman of Hamas, said in Doha that he and his expelled colleagues-- Khaled Mashaal, Izzat al-Rizq, and Samy Khater-- decided to raise a suit before the supreme court of justice to contest the government's decision concerning expelling them.
Ghosheh added that an appeal will be presented within two days before the end of the 60-day legal period which started from the government's decision on November 21.
