Plan to increase the value of Egypt's exports of computer software

Egyptian Minister of Communications and Data Ahmed Nazeef stated that there is a governmental plan to increase Egypt's exports of computer software to $2.5 billion in the year 2009.
The minister said in press statements that there is a governmental concern with the basic structure in the field of data and communications under the auspices of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for this field in order to tighten the gap in the communications field between Egypt and other countries.
Nazeef added that Egypt has promising chances in the data and communications field due to its unique location that links the Asian, African and the European contents.
