Kuwaiti emir confers with Benin's president

A round of official talks was held in Kuwait on Tuesday between Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, and the president of Benin, Mathieu Kerekou.
A statement released by the emir's court on Tuesday said the talks, which were held in a friendly atmosphere, dealt with means of developing and boosting bilateral relations as well as several issues of mutual concern.
President Kreiko arrived in Kuwait on Monday on an official visit which will last for three days.
