Egyptian workers in Kuwait confirm being exposed to torture

Egyptian workers in Kuwait said that they were exposed to torture while being interrogated in the events that took place in the Kifan area at end of last year, due to which some houses in Kuwait were burnt.

The criminal court in Kuwait decided to determine a date for the coming session on March 15.

The crisis between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti workers escalated at the end of last year which, threatened the relations between the two states. Problems were avoided when Egypt's minister of manpower and immigration met with Kuwaiti officials and as the Kuwaiti minister of labor was sent to Egypt to discuss this subject.
