Iraqi celebrate ninth anniversary of the second Gulf War

Iraq yesterday celebrated the ninth anniversary of the Gulf War to show the Iraqi challenge to the international alliance which brought it out of its occupation of Kuwait.
The US-lead international alliance launched an air campaign on January 16, 1991 till the war ended in February 1991, and ever since the whole world has been observing Iraq's battle with UN to lift the economic embargo imposed on the country and the conditions necessary for lifting this embargo.
Reviving these celebrations started last night, the anniversary of the first missiles and artillery fire which fell on Baghdad.
There are more activities to show the Iraqi determination to resist the attacks which have lasted since the second Gulf War.
