Four Hamas leaders contested their expulsion
Jordan-Regional, Politics, 1/18/2000
The spokesman for the Hamas movement, Ibrahim Ghoushe, has announced that the four Hamas leaders who were expelled by the Jordanian authorities to Qatar two months ago decided to assign a defense commission to bring their case before the Supreme Court of Justice in Jordan to contest the decision taken by the Jordanian government to expel them.
The Orient (al-Sharq) quoted Ghoushe as saying that the contest will be submitted within two days, just two days before the termination of the legal grace period permitted for contesting, which is 60 days.
